| Responsibilities | The position’s main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating activities and executing plans of the Web team as directed by Director of Electronic Communications for daily maintenance; new content management and growth of ADA.org; participation in other electronic communications initiatives as required. |
| Qualifications | The position requires a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Communications, Journalism or English; minimum of 3-5 years experience in Web writing, editing, content, and project management; strong computer skills, especially as related to Web technology and the following software packages: Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of video animation; ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives; ability to resolve problems, synthesize and organize information; excellent writing, editing, and proofing copy effectively; project management skills; leadership qualities; strong service orientation; high level of communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team; adaptable to learning new skills, technology, and applying knowledge to the workload; ability to set and meet deadlines, resolve conflicts, and organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Desired skills include: Background in association service; experience with Web analytics; content management software. |
