The SNAA Scholarship Fund seeks to reward current staffers for their outstanding work at The State News. Our immediate goal is to create an endowment to support the SNAA Award for Journalistic Achievement. We also are pursuing other scholarships and honorariums as funds become available.

The SNAA Award for Journalistic Achievement
Each year, SNAA honors a newsroom staffer for his or her outstanding work and leadership at The State News. Honorees are nominated by fellow staff members who recognize them as a sort of "most-valuable player" at the newspaper. This award, which comes with a $250 cash prize, is presented at the newspaper's annual awards banquet.
Donate to the Scholarship Fund
Donations to the Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible. Please make sure SNAA has your updated contact information so we can send you a receipt acknowledging your donation.
