The State News Hall of Fame recognizes State News alumni who have made signiﬁcant contributions to the media or other endeavors. Nominees must have worked for The State News as student or professional staff members in any department or have been members of The State News Board of Directors. Alumni become eligible 10 years after leaving The State News.

Nominations may be submitted by anyone. Self-nominations also are welcome. Honorees are selected annually by a subcommittee of the State News Alumni Association Board.

Only a limited number of nominees may be selected in any year. Once a person has been nominated for the Hall, their nomination remains active. However, we encourage you to send supplemental information if your nominee is not selected in any given year to improve their nomination.
