U.S. Assistant Attorney James Mitzelfeld, a former Pulitzer Prize winning Detroit News reporter and member of the State News Hall of Fame, is leading the investigation into Special Counsel Scott J. Bloch, who oversees protection for federal whistle-blowers, NPR reported.
